Plans & Billing
How apps, subscriptions, and plans work in SignalVault.
Per-app subscriptions
Every app in SignalVault has its own independent subscription. This means you can run one app on the Starter plan and another on Growth, each billed separately.
When you create a new app from the dashboard, it starts with no plan. To activate it, subscribe the app to either Starter or Growth from the Pricing page or from the app's Settings tab.

Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial on the Starter plan for their first app. You'll enter your payment details during checkout, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. After 7 days, the subscription bills at $49/month. Returning users (who have subscribed before) are charged immediately.
How to subscribe
There are two ways to subscribe an app:
- From the Pricing page — click a plan, select an app, and you'll be taken to Stripe checkout.
- From app Settings — go to your app's Settings tab, scroll to the Billing section, and pick a plan.
Changing plans
You can upgrade or downgrade from the app's Settings tab at any time:
- Upgrade (Starter → Growth) takes effect immediately. You're charged a prorated amount for the rest of the billing period.
- Downgrade (Growth → Starter) is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. You keep Growth features until then.
Pending downgrades can be canceled from the same Settings page before they take effect.
Cancellation
You can cancel an app's subscription from the Settings tab. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your app stays active until then. You can undo a pending cancellation at any time before the period ends.
Payment methods
Payments are handled securely by Stripe. You can manage your payment method by clicking Payment method in the app Settings, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal.
Subscription overview
For a bird's-eye view of all your subscriptions in one place, go to Account Settings (click your avatar in the top-right corner). The Subscriptions section lists every app, its current plan, billing status, and renewal date — so you can quickly see what's active, trialing, or pending cancellation without opening each app individually.
